2021 articles and reading updates
Hello readers,
I hope your 2021 was as enjoyable as it could be. Mine was ok. Some of my highlights include a short rock climbing trip at Seneca Rocks, watching Michigan beating Ohio State at football with my brother and Mom, and winning the annual Christmas-time Pickleball tournament against my brother.
I took a break from writing on the Internet and only published a couple articles last year. They are both related to unit tests.
Both of those were inspired by some tests I improved as part of my day job. There is quite a bit more I could say about improving the tests you write and maybe this will be the year I do. I’m sure it has all been said by others already.
Reading
I read 57 books last year (where book is defined as something trackable in Goodreads). I’m not going to put many words here about that as I just published my first article of 2022, a look back at my 2021 reading.
I read a lot of really good books this last year. If you are looking for some high quality fiction (and some of it quite short) take a look at my write up.
I hope that everyone’s 2022 is full of interesting reads and enjoyable pursuits.
Jake
